The top performing students in the Caribou Cup are awarded cash prizes at the end of the six contests in the Cup (Oct - May). By promoting such challenges at our school, the students were engaged in fun mathematical challenges. It helped improve students’ problem-solving techniques by providing a wide variety of challenging math activities not based purely on concepts or memorising formulas but instead on flexible thinking, creativity, logic, applicable in the real world.
